PES Hot Melt Powder UE-3105
UE-3105 is a copolyester (PES) hot melt adhesive in powder form, ground from copolyester resin and supplied in three particle-size windows — fine powder for paste printing, mid-cut for dot coating and a coarser grade for scatter coating. It starts to melt at 95 °C and is pressed at 125-145 °C, curing to a flexible bond that resists washing and dry cleaning.
Where TPU powder is chosen for stretch and softness, and polyamide powder for high-temperature and technical bonds, PES powder sits between them: it grips polyester-rich fabrics exceptionally well, survives repeated laundering and stays soft in the hand. That combination makes UE-3105 the natural choice for garment interlining, collar and cuff fusing, heat transfer printing and technical textile lamination — anywhere the finished laminate has to come through washing without lifting, stiffening or bubbling.
Key Features
- Copolyester chemistry — compatible with PET fibres, so adhesion to polyester and polyester blends is strong without primers or surface treatment
- Excellent wash resistance — rated excellent after washing at 60 °C, with no delamination or bubbling along the bond line
- Solvent resistance — the cured bond holds through dry cleaning and the finishing solvents used on garments
- Low activation temperature — melting begins at 95 °C and pressing runs at 125-145 °C, leaving headroom for heat-sensitive fabrics that cannot take a polyamide press
- Three particle-size windows — fine, mid-cut and coarse grades matched to paste, dot and scatter coating, so one chemistry covers three production lines
- Custom particle size — cut to your specification on request when your line needs a window outside the standard ranges

Because every substrate, machine and process differs, run a small trial to establish the optimum temperature, pressure and dwell time before volume production.
Particle Size
UE-3105 is ground to three standard windows: 0-80 micron for paste printing, 80-170 or 80-200 micron for dot coating, and 100-250 micron for scatter coating. Other particle sizes can be ground to your requirement.
Applications
UE-3105 bonds textiles that must stay soft and come through washing clean:
- Garment interlining — fusing shirt collars and cuffs, front panels and waistbands, where the interlining must not bubble after washing
- Heat transfer printing — dot-printed graphics and labels onto sportswear, fashion garments and workwear
- Technical textiles — laminating filter media, reflective materials and coated fabrics
- Automotive interiors — fabric-to-foam and trim lamination where the bond sees heat in service
- Shoe materials — bonding linings and reinforcements that need dry-clean and solvent resistance
Because the powder activates below the melting point of most synthetic fibres, it can be run on flat-bed presses and continuous laminating lines alike.
UE-3105 is scattered at 80-170 or 80-200 micron for DTF transfers on polyester garments, where its 60 °C wash resistance outperforms softer TPU grades. Confirm the cure temperature against your printer profile before bulk runs.
Why Choose Us
Shanghai United Industry Co., Ltd, founded in 2017, is a specialized manufacturer and exporter of hot melt adhesives — powders, films, granules and polyamide grades — supplying customers worldwide. Every batch is checked in-house on melting range, melt flow index and particle size before shipment, so what you approve in a sample is what arrives in bulk. We grind to your particle-size window rather than pushing a stock grade, provide free technical advice on pressing temperature, pressure and dwell time, and support each customer from first sample through mass production.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose between paste, dot and scatter coating grades?
Match the grade to your application method. Use 0-80 micron for rotary screen paste printing, 80-170 or 80-200 micron for engraved-roller dot coating, and 100-250 micron for scatter coating. Tell us your process and we will confirm the window.
Is UE-3105 suitable for garments that are washed frequently?
Yes. Wash resistance is rated excellent at 60 °C, with no delamination or bubbling. For industrial laundering at higher temperatures, test your specific fabric and cycle first — send us the details and we can advise.
Can the powder be used for dry-clean-only garments?
Yes. UE-3105 is a copolyester with good solvent resistance, so the cured bond holds through dry cleaning and common finishing solvents.
What is the minimum order quantity, and can I get a sample?
There is no fixed MOQ — quantities are discussed according to your needs, and trial orders are welcome. Standard packing is 20 kg kraft paper bags. Samples are available for evaluation; send us your fabric, target particle size and application so we can supply the right grade. Test reports such as SGS can be provided on request.
Can I order a particle size outside the standard ranges?
Yes. Different particle sizes are available according to requirement. Give us the upper and lower cut you need and we will confirm feasibility and lead time.
